Hello Friends!
I have another quilt to share with youl This one is by Chelsi Stratton! I *think* this is the first pattern I’ve made of hers, but I’m not sure.
This quilt pattern was re-released with her recent fall fabric line, and I just love that fabric, so of course I did it in that fabric: Birch & Willow by Sherri and Chelsi.

Pumpkin Blocks
In the video I give a few tips with each of the different blocks, but here is a break down of the pumpkin block:
In this quilt pattern, there’s stitch-n-flip corners on the pumpkins.
When I’m tackling stitch-n-flip, I sew along the line.

I iron it open so it’s lining up with the edge of the quilt piece.
Then I go back and trim off the extra pieces behind.

Flying Geese Blocks
I don’t like to make stitch-n-flip flying geese, so I switched it for 4-at-a-time, no-waste flying geese. So I had to make a few adjustments in order to cut those up correctly. It made flying geese a little easier to do, plus quicker.

Tip Time
Make sure to always give it a good pressing after each step in the process. I like my blocks nice and flat. (And yes, I use water/steam.)

Thoughts
This was a fun and quick pattern.

I love that these blocks are big, and easy to put together. The pattern was well written and easy to follow.
