Confession: I love Pinterest.
I started pinning when I would sit down and nurse my now 5 year old. I currently have over 38k pins. Anywhere from meal plans and recipes, to outfits to wear during the fall time, to holiday craft projects. I have a board for every room in my house with projects of what I would like to do in that room.
So of course when I found out I was pregnant, and that it was a girl, I started making plans for her space. Where would we put her? Where will she sleep? How can I make her fit in the space that’s already there?
(I was not expecting a girl, I mean, we’re pretty good at making boys, but the idea of a girl Kindda through me for a loop.)
I had a few things to keep in mind:
- She would be sharing a room with her brother for a short time
- His bedroom theme is space
- The room has red and white walls
- I’m not for soft colors, this girls is going to be bold, like her brothers
So then I started creating a board for this little ladies room. She’s sharing it with her older brother, for the time being, so there’s lots of fun ways to keep this together.
Here’s a few ideas.

And when I say a few, I mean a few…. my board is filled with pictures, tutorials, and ideas…. so many ideas.
I feel very excited to bring this little ladies room together. So many things to do and so little time, only 4 months to go!
