Valentine Love: Patchwork Hearts

Confession: I am addicted to Pinterest! At the writing of this post I have 38,647 pins, in a wide variety of categories. (You can find me here!) They recently changed it up so you could divide your boards into categories, so I went from over 150 boards, to now having only 56 boards.

One of my boards that I sub-divided, is called “Holiday“. Which, going by it’s name, is a board that has every holiday you could possibly want to decorate for or celebrate. I put anything in there from recipes, to activities, to decorations.

Well, this project started that way. After completing the center of my Valentine Love quilt, I knew I wanted to make it bigger. So I headed on over to my Valentine’s Day sub-board, in my Holiday board, and started sifting through my pins. There’s soooo many great ideas. People of written so many posts about Valentine’s Day quilt (I’m a little slow to the party) and I needed something cute.

So I found this cute table topper by Stitching With 2 Stringsand new I wanted to use the hearts for the corners of my next rows. With a slight adjustment, I followed the pattern almost exactly, and made my corner hearts.

Here’s my tutorial for making these Patchwork Hearts.

Aren’t they cute???

Now only 1 final block to go.
